When we were married almost 3 years ago, we decided to be intentional about having fun together! One way that we did this was to brainstorm a 101 things in 1001 days list.

The deadline for the first one was up in early 2016 and we spent the rest of that year trying to chase up a few extras.

We ended up completing 77.2% of version 1.0 of 101 things in 1001 days.

Some of the things on that list included:

  • Kiss under fireworks!
  • Celebrate New Years together in person
  • Go to a second hand bookstore together.
  • Enjoy a festival together. (Ie: balloon, Shakespeare, chamber music)
  • Go to an airport together and leave on a plane together.
  • Go to a college athletic event together
  • Go to the zoo together
  • See a play together
  • Take a ferry together

We brainstormed the new 101 in 1001 list over the course of a few days and came up with a list that were both excited about. We tried to make sure there is little to no duplication from previous lists, except to carry over one or two things we didn’t quite get to last time around.

The new list started on 1 January 2017 and will run until late September 2019.

We like to use this list to push ourselves out of our comfort zones and seek new experiences and adventures together

Do you have a 101 things in 1001 days list? what’s on it?
