At its simplest, all you need to run is a pair of shorts, a t-shirt, and a pair of running shoes.
But, with longer distances comes more complexity and more gear. Many longer races have mandatory gear lists in order to satisfy safety and insurance requirements.
We use reviews to help us work out what to spend our hard earned money on. If you’re looking to write a better review, take a look at Anna’s piece about writing gear reviews that are useful to the running community.
